We are thrilled that we have been shortlisted for “Restaurant of the Year” in the Lancashire Life Food and Drink Awards 2011. As a new venture this is a great honour and a reflection of the dedication and hard work put in by our fantastic team here at the Gastro Bar and Grill.
The Gastro Bar & Grill was given a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 stars by Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council on 29th March 2011

On 10th May 2011 the Merseyside Derby came to Birkdale Village
Liverpool and Everton stars battled it out over pots and pans to serve guests at The Gastro Bar and Grill in aid of the Marina Dalglish Appeal.
In a recreation of Gordon Ramsay’s TV hit Hell’s Kitchen, Reds’ manager Kenny Dalglish competed with Blues legend Alan Stubbs to see who could take the most orders from diners.
